He was born and lived at Daybrook, Nottinghamshire. Son of Robert and Eliza Armson, of 26, Morris Street, Daybrook,. Husband of Harriet Armson. Was a coal miner. He enlisted at Nottingham and went to France on 29th June 1915. Killed in action, 20th February 1916, whilst serving in the trenches at St. Jean, near Ypres, Belgium.
