Son of William and Mrs Antcliffe, of 126, Derby Road, Heanor, Nottingham. He enlisted at Ilkeston, Derbyshire, served in Gallipoli during 1915 and was killed in action, 26th September 1916, aged 20, in an attack near Ovillers, France during the Battle of the Somme.
