Private Percy Anker

Born at Willington, Derbyshire. Son of Walter and Elizabeth Anker, of The Villas, Willington. He enlisted on 10th October 1913 and went to France on 28th February 1915. He suffered gunshot wounds to his neck on 27th June 1915 and died, 1st July 1915, aged 21, at No. 10 Casualty Clearing Station (Remy Siding), Belgium.
