Born at Barnett, Derbyshire. Son of Joseph and Hannah Andrews, of Hundall, Unstone, Sheffield. He enlisted at Chesterfield, Derbyshire and was killed in action, on 26th September 1917, aged 22, in the attack near Valmertinghe, Belgium.
