Born at Selston, Nottinghamshire. Son of John and Emily Andrews, of 45, Welbeck Street, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. He enlisted at Mansfield and was killed in action, 27th April 1917, aged 23, during the attack on Hargicourt, France.
