Battalion: 1st Battalion, Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born at Moretown, Caistor, Lincolnshire. Son of Joseph and Eliza Andrews, of Memorial Cottage, Nettleton, Caistor, Lincolnshire. He enlisted at Market Rasen, Lincolnshire and to France on 27th October 1915. He was killed in action, 25th April 1918, aged 18, whilst serving in the line at Bois l’Abbe, France.
