Son of George and Annie M. Andrews, of 3, Buxton Terrace, Matlock Bank, Matlock, Derbyshire. He enlisted at Matlock and was killed in action, 3rd October 1918, aged 23, during the attack and capture of Ramicourt, France.

Buried Bellicourt British Cemetery, France. Plot 6, Row L. Grave 7.
