He was born at Bermondsey, London 31st December 1876. Husband of Lucy Edith Andrews, of 12, King Arthur Street, Peckham, London. He was a store’s assistant for S. M. Gas Company prior to enlisting at Camberwell on 7th December 1915. He went to France on 26th February 1917 and was killed in action, 3rd May 1917, aged 42, during the attack on Malakov and Cologne Farms, France.
