Son of Mrs A. Andrews, of 1, Coulby Yard, Burke Street, Nottingham. He lived at Radford, Nottingham and enlisted at Nottingham. Killed in action, 1st July 1916, aged 18, in the attack on the German positions at Gommecourt, France, on the first day of the Battle of the Somme.
