Born and lived in Nottingham. Son of Bettina Anderson, of 23, Manvers Street, Nottingham. He was a Lace Maker prior to enlisting at Nottingham and was killed in action, 17th October 1916, aged 20, by German shellfire whilst serving in the trenches south-east of Trones Wood, France.
