Son of Emily Anderson; husband of Florence Anderson, of 12, East Street, Queen Square, London. He was a tailor prior to enlisting at Whitehall on 3rd August 1916 into the Royal Flying Corps. Went to France on 26th September 1916, transferred to the 10th Battalion, Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment 24th September 1917 and was killed in action, 12th October 1917, aged 38, during the attack near Hazebrouck, Belgium.
