Battalion: 1st Battalion, Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.
Son of George and Nellie Allison, of 28 Trent Street, Retford, Nottinghamshire. He lived at 65, Cooper Street, Doncaster, Yorkshire. He was a telegraph lad for the Great Northern Railway prior to enlisting at Doncaster on 24th November 1916. He went to France on 29th January 1918 and was killed in action, 26th March 1918, when his battalion was withdrawing under heavy German attack, towards Rosiers, France.
