Battalion: 15th Battalion, Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.
Son of Horace Allington, of Hose, near Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. He was a waggoner prior to enlisting at Hose on 9th December 1915. He went to France on 12th July 1916 and was accidentally drowned, 2nd August 1916, whilst bathing in the River Somme, France.
