Son of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Alliban, of Tupton Hall, Chesterfield, Derbyshire. He went to France 26th February 1917 and was mentioned in despatches (London Gazette Date 21st December 1917). He was killed in action 5th May 1917 during the consolidation at Malakoff Farm, Hargicourt, France.
