Son of William and Emma Alexander, of 22, Cowper Street, Bradford, Manchester. He was a Piecer in a Cotton Mill prior to enlisting at Manchester. He was killed in action, 27th October 1917, whilst out working on a railway construction party near Ypres, Belgium.
