Battalion: 15th Battalion, Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born at Leicester and lived at 79 Havelock Street, Leicester. Son of Arthur and Lizzie Wormleighton Aldridge, of 42, Waring Street, Leicester. He was a firewood cutter prior to enlisting at Leicester on 12th December 1915. He went to France on 4th July 1916 and was killed in action, 26th November 1916, during a German raid on British trenches at Arras, France.
