Private Leonard James Albon

Battalion: 2/5th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.
Born and lived at Netherfield, Nottingham. Son of Frederick William and Harriett Albon, of 5 Midland Grove, Victoria Road, Netherfield. He was an apprentice cabinet maker prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He was killed in action, on 21st March 1918, whilst holding the line near Noreuil, France on the opening day of the German Spring Offensive or (Kaiserschlact)
