He was born and enlisted at Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset. Son of Wilfred and Annie Addicott, of 6 Churchill Road, Weston-Super-Mare. He was a grocer’s apprentice prior to enlisting at Weston-Super-Mare. He was killed in action on 7th April 1917 during the attack at Verguier, France.
