Born and lived at Chilwell, Nottinghamshire. Son of Jesse and Charlotte Adcock, of 31, Upper Regent Street, Beeston, Nottinghamshire. Husband of Clara James. He was a Foundry Labourer prior to enlisting at Nottingham and was killed in action on 9th October 1917 whilst the battalion was marching to the support line near Hazebrouck, Belgium.
