Son of N. H. and Anne S. Adams. Served with the 2/5th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment in Dublin during the Irish Rebellion. Went to France 26th February 1917. He lost his right leg 4th April 1917 at Le Verguier, France caused by the blast from a 5.9 bomb and died of wounds later that day.
