Born at Over, Cambridgeshire. Lived at Sutton Bridge, Lincolnshire. Son of Dennis and Charlotte Adams, of Silver Street. Willingham, Cambridgeshire. Brother of Elsie Lingo, Berrycroft, Willingham. He was a bricklayer’s labourer. Enlisted at Long Sutton, Lincolnshire 11th December 1915 into the Lincolnshire Regiment. He was transferred to the 11th Battalion, Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment. Killed in action in the attack near Hill 60, Belgium, 7th June 1917.
