Born at Kettering, Northamptonshire. Son of Frank and Rose Eleanor Abraham, of 113, Kingsley Avenue, Kettering. He was a clerk and enlisted at Kettering on 17th July 1916. He qualified as a Lewis Gunner on 8th June 1917 and went to France on 3rd July 1917. He was transferred to the 2/7th Battalion, Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment on 27th July 1917. Killed in action, 21st March 1918, whilst holding the line near Noreuil, France on the opening day of the German Spring Offensive or (Kaiserschlact)
