Went to France on 28th June 1915. Son of Mrs. Isadora Watson, of 23, St. Pauls Avenue, Hyson Green, Nottingham.

Killed in action, 1st July 1916, aged 19, in the attack on the German positions at Gommecourt, France, on the first day of the Battle of the Somme.
