Born and lived in London. Son of William Paris Waterson and Alice Waterson, of “Springfield”, Harrow Road, Pinner, Middlesex. He went to France on 5th March 1916 and was commissioned into the Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment, on 2nd April 1917. He was killed in action, on 31st July 1917, aged 21, in the British offensive at St. Julian, Belgium.
