Born At New Tupton, Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Son of Sarah Wass, of 29, Bestwood Road, Butlers Hill, Hucknall, Nottinghamshire. He was a miner and enlisted at Hucknall. He went to France 25th August 1915 and died of wounds 3rd July 1917, age 20.
