Born and lived at Leicester. Son of Charles Henry and Mary Ann Taylor, of 7, Cecil Gardens, Cecil Road, Leicester. He enlisted at Leicester and was killed in action, 24th November 1916, aged 19, during a German artillery barrage, whilst on a working party to the north of Beaumont Hamel, France, during the Battle of the Somme.
