Son of A. E. and S. J. Sturges; Husband of A. E. Sturges, of 3, Seafield Road, Hove. Served In The South African Campaign. He went to France on 8th September 1914 with the 2nd Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment. Died of wounds on 12th February 1917, aged 39.
