Battalion: 2nd Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Son of Martin and Kate Stevenson, of 132, Northgate, Old Basford, Nottingham, 7 Years Service. He went to France on 8th September 1914 and was killed in action on 20th October 1914, aged 25, when the battalion held position south-east of Bois Grenier, Ennetieres/Escobecques, France against a German attack.
