Son of George and Elizabeth Rolling, of Hill Top House, Eastwood, Nottingham.

Killed in action, 14th February 1916, aged 25, during heavy German shellfire and the explosion of a German mine, prior to the German attack of the front line trenches, near the canal to the south-east of Ypres, Belgium.
