Born and lived at Hemswell, Lincolnshire. Son of Henry and Eliza Redhead, of Glenthworth, Lincolnshire. He enlisted at Gainsborough, Lincolnshire and died of wounds, 5th June 1917, aged 23, at 1/5th Northern General Hospital, Leicester.
