Son of John and Harriett Wright (Formerly Phillips), of 2, Foundry St., Whittington Moor, Chesterfield, Derbyshire.

Killed in action, 14th February 1916, aged 26, during heavy German shellfire and the explosion of a German mine, prior to the German attack of the front line trenches, near the canal to the south-east of Ypres, Belgium.
