Battalion: 1/7th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Son of Thomas and Mary Pedley, of 80, Kimbolton Avenue, Lenton Sands, Nottingham. Went to France on 25th February 1915. Killed in action, 1st July 1916, aged 28, during the attack on the German positions at Gommecourt, France, on the first day of the Battle of the Somme.
