Born 18th February 1883 at Rushall, Staffordshire. Son of William and Betsy Pearson, of New Road, Walsall, Staffordshire. Husband of Phoebe Pearson, of Coronation Road, High Heath, Pelsall, Staffordshire. He was a coal miner prior to enlisting at Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. He went to France 11th August 1915 and died of wounds, 6th February 1917, at No. 8 General Hospital, Rouen, France.
