Lance Corporal Fred Pearson

Battalion: 1st Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.
Born at Two Dales, Derbyshire. Son of Henry and Ellen Pearson, of Two Dales. He was a quarryman prior to enlisting on 1st September 1914 at Derby. He went to France on 27th January 1915 and was appointed Lance Corporal on 8th October 1915 and was killed in action, on 31st July 1917, during the British attack near Bellewaarde Lake near Ypres, Belgium.
