Born at Nottingham and lived at 3, Lavender Street, Nottingham. Son of Frank and Elizabeth Pearson, of 116, Dame Agnes Street, Nottingham. He was a mineral water bottle filler prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He went to France 11th November 1914 and was awarded the Military Medal, London Gazette 22nd January 1917. He was killed in action, 1st July 1917, aged 23, in the attack at Cite St. Theodore, France.
