Born at Nottingham and lived at 56, Lambert Street, Hyson Green, Nottingham. Son of Albert and Kate Pearce. He was a printer prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He was killed in action, 3rd September 1916, aged 19, during the attack near Beaumont Hamel, France during the Battle of the Somme.
