Son of Samuel and Mary Ann Prudence Peach, of 24, Elm Avenue, Nottingham. Went to France on 16th February 1916. Killed in action, 1st July 1916, aged 28, during the attack on the German positions at Gommecourt, France, on the first day of the Battle of the Somme.
