Born at Arnold, Nottinghamshire. Son of John And Mary Parr, of Arnold; Husband of Mary Alice Tomlinson (Formerly Parr), of 2, Smithy Row, Arnold, Nottingham. Was brick layers labourer. He enlisted at Nottingham, went to Gallipoli in 1915, died 10th March 1918, aged 36.
