Battalion: 15th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.
Born at Eckington, Derbyshire. Son of Fred Hughes Parr and Sarah Parr, of 16 Barbers Row, Renishaw, Derbyshire. He was a coal miner at Southgate Colliery Clowne, Derbyshire, prior to enlisting at Sheffield. He was killed in action, on 2nd June 1918, aged 24, whilst serving in the line near Bouzincourt, France.
Buried: Harponville Communal Cemetery, France. Row A. Grave 16.
