Born and lived at Nottingham. Son of Sarah Ann Jackson, of Bradmore, Nottingham; Husband of Eliza Ann Mills (formerly Parkin), of 66, Henry St., Sneinton Elements, Nottingham. He was town labourer prior to enlisting 27th October 1914 at Nottingham. He went to Gallipoli 18th September 1915 and died of wounds, 19th January 1916, aged 35.
