Son of Charles and Ada Randell (Formerly Millband), of 9, Devonshire Avenue, New Whittington, Chesterfield, Derbyshire.

Lilled in action, 14th February 1916, aged 21, during heavy German shellfire and the explosion of a German mine, prior to the German attack of the front line trenches, near the canal to the south-east of Ypres, Belgium.
