Son of Mr and Mrs George Marsh, of 42, Market Street, Shirebrook, Derbsyhire.
Killed in action, 14th February 1916, aged 29, during heavy German shellfire and the explosion of a German mine, prior to the German attack of the front line trenches, near the canal to the south-east of Ypres, Belgium.
