Son of Charles and Emily Mann, of Upper Stoke, Holy Cross, Norwich, Norfolk. He was a horseman prior to enlisting at Norwich. He was killed in action, 22nd September 1917, age 27, during the attack at Bulgar Wood, Belgium.
