Son of John Mann; Husband of Emma Mann, of 86, London Road, Nottingham. He went to France on 19th September 1914 and was killed in action on 20th October 1914, aged 30, when the battalion held position south-east of Bois Grenier, Ennetieres/Escobecques, France against a German attack.
