Private Edward John Howe

Battalion: 16th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.
Born and lived at Stafford. Son of John and Fanny Howe, of 8 Tillington Street, Stafford. He was a shoe operative prior to enlisting at Stafford, on 1st March 1916. He went to France on 14th January 1917 and was killed in action, on 9th June 1917, by German shellfire, whilst serving in the line at St. Jean, Belgium.
