Born at Ilkeston, Derbyshire; Son of Thomas Harrison of 49 Awsworth Road, Ilkeston. He was a Coal Miner prior to enlisting at Derby. He went to France 12th October 1915 and was killed in action,7th December 1916, whilst serving in the line at Foncquevillers, France.

Buried: Foncquevillers Military Cemetery, France. Plot 1. Row H. Grave 29.
