Battalion : 17th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born at Mansfield Woodhouse, Nottinghamshire. Son of Joseph and Clara Hague, of 9, Newcastle Street, Mansfield Woodhouse. He was a colliery labourer prior to enlisting at Mansfield. He went to France 28th July 1915 and was killed in action, 16th February 1917, whilst serving in the line at Ypres, Belgium.
