Born and lived at Carrington, Nottingham. Son of John and Angelina Guy, of 2, Wellington Cottages, Hucknall Road, Carrington. He was an errand boy prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He served in Gallipoli in 1915. He died of wounds received during the attack on Poelcappelle, Belgium 14th October 1917, age 20.
