Son of John Frederick and Emma Glover, of 15, Trinity Street, Shrewsbury. Went to France on 28th August 1915. Killed in action, on 1st July 1916, aged 23, during the attack on the German positions at Gommecourt, France, on the first day of the Battle of the Somme.
