Born and lived at Wilford, Nottingham. Son of William and Jane Glover, of Wilford, Nottingham. He was a packer at Boots the Chemist, Nottingham prior to enlisting 17th November 1913 at Nottingham. He went to France 28th February 1915 and was killed in action, 11th May 1915, aged 18, whilst the battalion was at Bac St. Maur, Belgium.
